String Lake is a skinny lake that connects two bigger lakes in Grand Teton National Park. The other lakes are Leigh Lake and Jenny Lake, named for the mountaineer Beaver Dick Leigh and his Shoshone wife Jenny. I have very happy childhood memories at String Lake.
