Jackson Hole Moose Hockey
When the lights come up over the Snow King Sports & Events center and the sound of skates hits the ice, you know it's a Friday night in Jackson. Going to a hockey game happens to be the most reliable way to spot a Moose in Jackson, though the members of the Jackson Hole Moose hockey team are likely slightly less hairy than the creatures you’re expecting. It’s also a great time for the whole family. Here’s what you need to know.
When does the season start?
The 2025-2026 Jackson Hole Moose hockey season officially kicks off on Friday, November 14, 2025, with a game against the McCall Mountaineers. The season runs from November through early spring, with games typically happening on Friday and Saturday nights.
How much are tickets?
Tickets for all games go on sale beginning October 1, but tickets are still available and can be purchased on the Snow King Sports & Events Center website. Tickets are $15 online ($16ish with tax and processing fees) or $20 at the door, so lock in your tickets early to get the best seats and prices!
Where are the games held?
Games are held at the Snow King Sports & Events Center (100 E. Snow King Ave.).
What food is available?
There are a variety of food and beverage options available during Moose hockey games, available through different concession stands. Alcohol is also available, but it’s important to note that if you intend to buy an alcoholic beverage, you must first purchase alcohol tokens, which can be found at a booth close to the entrance.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available and free! Spots are limited, though, so arrive early. Additional parking is available on Snow King Avenue.
What should I wear?
As you might imagine, indoor ice arenas can get chilly, so dress appropriately. We highly recommend plaid flannel and a beanie (when in Rome, right?) or perhaps these pants, which you can snag from the Pro Shop.
