Best Views in Jackson Hole: Aerial Tram and Gondola rides
It’s no secret that Jackson boasts some of the best views on earth. Between the majestic Teton mountain range, the national forest, the elk reserve, and the town of Jackson itself, there’s no shortage of scenery. Are you looking for the best view of all these beautiful sights? Luckily, Jackson Hole has an aerial tram and a gondola ascending to breathtaking heights and views.
Aerial Tram
Located in Teton Village, the Aerial Tram (its official name) ascends 4,139 vertical feet to the top of Rendezvous Mountain. With a mere 12-minute ride, you can access world-class views, trail running, hiking, climbing, and most importantly, waffles. You read that right, waffles. Corbet’s Cabin boasts the “World’s Best Waffles at 10,450 feet.” Fresh made-to-order waffles are topped with delicious and unique flavors like brown sugar, Nutella, and peanut butter and bacon, making Corbet’s Cabin the perfect beginning or end to any outdoor adventure.
Speaking of outdoor adventure, the tram provides access to incredible hiking areas in both Grand Teton National Park and the national forest. Trails include Rock Springs Loop, Corbet’s Trail, Happy Hour Hike, and Cody Bowl. If you’re craving more than waffles and hiking, you can take a running leap with the tandem paragliding pilots at Jackson Hole Paragliding.

Breanne Kunz was raised in the Pacific Northwest but grew up spending summers in Idaho and frequently visiting Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, and Yellowstone National Park. She is a wife and mom who likes to write and travel and wants to travel more. She fears heights but would ride to any height for waffles.
