Jackson Hole is beautiful no matter what time of year you come. Here are seven fun activities you can do if you are here during the wintertime. Enjoy!

 

1. Sleigh Ride Through the Elk Refuge

This is one of the coolest winter activities to do in Jackson! You hop on a sleigh and get super close and personal to all the elk on the elk refuge! If you haven't done this yet, now's the time! 2. Ride the Winter Cowboy Coaster

You can ride it and watch the skiers and snowboarders go down the hill at the time time. Check out this link for more information.

3. Snowshoe

The Hole Hiking Experience offers a variety of options for snow showing depending on how long or how intense of a hike you want to go on. Snow showing is great exercise and a wonderful way to enjoy the beauty of winter in Jackson Hole. Click here for more information.

4. Snow Tubing

Snow King offers great snow tubing! You take the Magic Carpet Ride up to the top of the hill, and then tube all the way down. This is a great activity for anyone in your family that is 42 inches or taller (per the ride's rules). Find more info. here!

5. Indoor Shopping

This is an idea for those of you who want to do something a little more safe and cozy, and a little less crazy and adventurous in the wintertime! Shopping around Town Square is a great way to spend a cold day. There are so many unique shops full of western treasures just waiting for you. Click here for more info.

6. Get Hot Chocolate at Persephone Bakery

Warm yourself up with some yummy hot chocolate from this delightful bakery. The inside is beautifully decorated and the food is divine! This is the perfect place to visit in the winter. Click here to see some pictures and get more information.

7. Ice Skate in Town Square

If you are looking for something magical to do, this is it! Ice skating right in the middle of Town Square, with the antler arch, the lights, and music is pure magic. This is a fun activity for the whole family! Click here for more info.
