These folks saw that many new people were settling all over the U.S.A. and they wanted to preserve the beautiful vistas in America as National Parks before they were taken over by settlers. Thank goodness for those citizens. Thanks to them, we now have 59 places we can go all over the United States to see nature in it's most beautiful and majestic state. This book is truly a delight.
