National Parks of the U.S.A. – A Fantastic Book!
If you are looking for a beautiful, well-written book about National Parks - here is the perfect one written by Kate Siber.
This book goes through all 59 National Parks (including our favorite, Yellowstone!) in simple and beautiful detail. It is fun for kids to read, and it's even delightful for adults too.
The illustrations by Chris Turnham are truly unique, colorful, and a joy to look at.
Let's jump into the book for a better look...

Some fun facts learned from the book are that Ulysses S. Grant, who was president at the time, was the one who created the first national park in the entire world back in 1872.
And guess which place was the first National Park?...…...Yellowstone!
We can thank some of the "forward-thinking citizens" for the idea of National Parks in the 1800's. These folks saw that many new people were settling all over the U.S.A. and they wanted to preserve the beautiful vistas in America as National Parks before they were taken over by settlers.
Thank goodness for those citizens. Thanks to them, we now have 59 places we can go all over the United States to see nature in it's most beautiful and majestic state.
This book is truly a delight.
