Day Four: Biking and Fish Hatchery

Day Four: I woke up this morning super excited to go biking.  But first, we had breakfast at The Virginian. virginianWe shared a big, soft, delicious cinnamon roll.cinn Then we went back to Flat Creek Inn, and took the bikes. Cost: Free to Flat Creek Inn guests! We rode them on the car-free paved trail. I love this path because I don't like sharing the road with cars. Just a short distance on this path was the fish hatchery. There we had a tour. Cost: Free! Almost everything in Jackson is expensive, so to do something free is super refreshing and for some reason 10x more fun for me. I really enjoyed seeing the tanks full of fish and learning about the fish hatchery process. bike You can continue on this bike path all the way to South Jenny Lake. In addition to the bike path, bikes may travel in Grand Teton Park anywhere vehicles are allowed. This is safest and most enjoyable in the time between when the snow melts and Memorial Day, before the tourist season makes it big debut. Bikes are not allowed on hiking trails. Check the Park site for more info on biking in the park. biking tetons After this, we headed home. Thanks for coming with us on our little vacation.
