A special gift of shoes. Red and green hues all around. Lots of little people. A supposedly magical who maybe doesn’t exist the way people believe. Maybe we’re stretching now, but there’s nothing more Christmas-themed than the classic story The Wizard of Oz, Dancers’ Workshop 2023 production. For three nights, visitors can travel to the Emerald City with Dorothy and her friends. The performance features local student dancers age 8-18, showcasing what they learned this last semester.Merry and Bright On Ice, December 9
The Skating Club of Jackson Hole, along with Olympic silver medalist Karen Chen, presents an annual ice-skating spectacular. Honestly, nothing we could write can convey the pure Christmas energy that the Skating Club already conjures in this description paragraph, so here it is: “This show is more magical than Santa's sleigh and will whisk you away on a journey filled with merry and bright holiday tunes. Get a load of the jaw-dropping costumes and the cheerful holiday spirit that will warm even the frostiest of hearts! … This is the ultimate family holiday show that only happens one weekend a year, so grab hot cocoa from our concession stand, put on your cozy socks, and let's make some unforgettable memories, because tickets fly faster than Rudolph on Christmas Eve!” Some bold claims are made there (More magical than Santa’s sleigh? We’ll believe it when we see it), but you’ll have to find out yourself if they’re true. The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, December 20

There’s nothing particularly holiday-themed about this one, but we had to include it because—you know, tacos. Every Tuesday from 4:30 to 7:30 at Haydens Post restaurant at Snow King. Executive Marc Boussarie will grill up $3 taco specialties. You can also enjoy cocktails and Happy Hour specials like Smash Burgers, LA dogs, loaded fries, and more.
