Travel Toiletry Bag Hacks!
Cosmetic bag...toiletry bag...makeup bag....whatever you want to call it, it is something we all have to deal with every time we travel. It can be a source of hassle or happiness depending on how we prepare!
I asked my friends and family for some 'Toiletry Bag Hacks' so that we can all make this part of our travel experience a little easier!
Here's what they said...
From Jessica:
-Wear less makeup!
-Lip stain stays on longer than lipstick. (Her favorite is pictured above.)
From Tessea:
-I have a good toiletry bag that can fold up and has lots of pockets, and I can hang it anywhere I want. (A bag similar to hers can be found here.)
-This is how I pack my earrings:
From Zack:
-Airplane size shampoo, body wash, and toothpaste are the best.
From Korinne:
-I use a simple contact case to hold my foundation and lotion. (See pictures below.)
-I also like to use my lip stick as lip color, as cheek color, and as eye shadow (on the corners). This cuts out a lot of extra makeup.
From Gretchen Rubin (I read this idea on her blog!):
-Use a plain old Zip Lock bag, that way if something spills, you can just throw it away and use a new one! (See a picture of Gretchen's bag here.)
From Me (Shan'tel!):
-I keep my bag packed and ready to go at all times. (I keep mine stocked with everything I need except for a few makeup items that I just throw in when I'm ready to leave.)
-Use the extra shampoos/conditioners/soaps that hotels give you. They are the perfect travel size and they are free!
-The bag I use and love can be found here.
I hope these Toiletry Bag Hacks will help you ease your packing process next time you travel.
And by the way, Jackson Hole is a wonderful place to travel to this summer!
